These are very cute shoes with very flexible soles for shoe that looks like this – my experience has been that kid sneakers can be inexplicably stiff. These are comfortable (no break-in period), my daughter loves them, and I am happy that the soles are flexible so her feet can develop.

I adore these shoes. My daughter tolerates them, and I honestly don’t know why she prefers others because these are easy for her to put on “all by herself” which we know is key for a three year old. They are supportive for the playground, and go with everything in this light blue color. I have come to love See Kai Run shoes because they last, and we can pass them down to the cousins.

I’ve always put my kids in See Kai Run shoes; they held up well, they’re cute, and the velcro means my kindergarten kid can do them herself.
But not this pair. My kid wore them for two weeks, and I noticed the metal eyelets (the circles around where the laces thread up the shoes) are coming off. They are completely detaching from the canvas of the shoe. Somehow they are bending upwards in the process. I don’t know if this is a manufacturing issue or if my child has somehow developed the ability to warp metal by walking normally. Either way, the result is a very sharp piece of metal that points upwards from the shoe. It is a huge safety issue for both my child and other kids she plays with, as I am certain the metal is sharp enough to cut.
End result: we have cute shoes that are completely unsafe to wear.

We’ve had these 2.5 months and they’re already trashed. Really cute and fit well, but they look like they’re a year old already. I don’t think I’ll order this brand again.

We recently purchased the See Kai Run Kristin in “Blue Flowers” pattern, which is a denim-look fabric. My 3 year old tried on a few pairs of shoes from other brands but felt most comfortable in this shoe. They are super cute, and look very durable. Unfortunately, the shoes aren’t holding up. After just a week or two, the fabric started shredding (photos taken after 2 weeks of wear). I would expect a child puts a pair of shoes to the test for durability, but no shoe should have fabric falling apart after a few weeks of wear. I would give this shoe an A+ for comfort and an A+ for style (especially for offering options beyond the usual pink and sparkles), but there is much work to be done on the durability of the material, especially at a price around $40.

Just received a refund for these…bought them for our 5 yr old daughter for school in September and by the end of November they are completely falling apart! The fabric on the sides is literallly threadbare after only 3 months of wear and tearing away from the shoe! Will be buying a different brand from now on

This is a great brand I find they usually hold up to quite a beating. Not the case with these for some reason – the fabric tore after only a couple of weeks were it meets the white toe cap at the top. The shoes fit well with plenty of room so they weren’t too tight. Daughter didn’t seem to care but I was disappointed they look so worn in such a short period of time.

See Kai Run is our go-to brand for my daughter’s shoes. They hold up so well, plus they are so cute and not too flashy like some girls shoes. These are a very light pink sparkle, super tolerable. Love them!

Great shoe, except that this particular material did not hold up and actually wore down very quickly. After 2-3 months of daily wear, various places looked like shredded jean holes (inside ankle where shoes may rub together when ankles are crossed, toe area where shoes rub ground when kids sit on knees, outside area where shoes rub ground when sitting feet-crossed, etc.). There’s a black underlayer material, but the actual cute patterned chambray material is very thin and is no match for toddler play. Still love the brand and am ordering the same style in the thicker gray polka dot t-shirt-like material, which we have had before.

My daughter wears 12 in Nike and these were a whole size bigger.

My 4 year old destroys shoes easily, so I tried these because I liked the rubber over the toe. That part held up really well, but they unfortunately developed several tears in the fabric, especially on the Velcro strip. They lasted us just over a month. They were very cute and would be great for my other kid who’s not so rough on shoes, but we’ll try another brand next time.

Denim fabric didn’t hold up and we there’s already a hole in the two after only a few months of wear. I’d recommend another fabric because the shoe itself seems good!

Unfortunately these run a little loose/big. The top portion tongue area of the shoe is pretty loose. My daughter also complained that they were scratchy and stiff.

These are really cute and comfortable sneakers but the upper material has completely shredded apart after only 2 months on my 4 year old. The sole is in great shape but the cotton material on the rest of the shoe does not seem to withstand normal kids wear and tear.

Adorable and great fit!

Purchased these for my 3 yo daughter – they initially looked great, but they’ve fallen apart in less than 2 months with just normal toddler activities. Purchased in August, now shopping for new shoes in September.

Within 2 days of light wear at Kindergarten, these shoes look horrible!!! The iridescent look is peeling and these look like they’re 6 months old. We have had other styles of this brand and they last multiple children…this one will be lucky to last 3 months. Not happy

long lasting brand, good fit, kid can easily put on and off themselves.

My granddaughter loved these shoes, but after only a month of wear, they looked terrible. I thought the shoes would stand up better on an active 6-year-old.

Best quality! Will reorder in larger size.

These were perfect for my 4 year old. The silver were sparkly enough for her and much better looking than some of the other ‘sparkly’ shoes she liked.

They fit great!

Great shoe…this is a very delayed review as I purchased these many years ago for my daughter. They are a high quality sneaker that complimented all of her outfits.
Allie –
These wore well, the colors were cute, and they worked well for my toddler with a wide foot. Sadly, she sized out of them quickly because she grows every other day, but loved them for the time and have continued to purchase more and more See Kai Run styles.

Can’t go wrong! Excellent young walkers show. Easy to put on and off.
