They just didn’t feel right … I have 2 pairs of Cloudsurfer 7.5 (though in other good shoes I wear a 7W) and I love them for comfort. I was hoping for a little more support with these new models, but they had a strange bulge under where the toes meet the forefoot. They also did not feel Wide, or as cushion-y.
It seems strange that a redesigned shoe would be marketed under the same class name.

The wide width is not a true wide width. Writing on toe box is at bunion area.

I always size up 1/2 size for my On Clouds. They fit great and I can stand the whole shift wearing them plus they look awesome too. I highly recommend these shoes.

Tried on many OC and these were by far the best for me! Love the comfort, style, bounce and color!

LOVE these. ON is my new go to for walking or casual shoe. I am an 8 or 8.5 depending on the padding of the shoe it seems. I took 8.5 in these. They are cute and comfortable. I have no issues like other reviewers. These fit me much better than Hokas where 8s are too short and fit in toe, but 8.5 is just huge in the toe and sloppy.

VERY COMFORTABLE sneaker with a wide toe box. Feels like walking on air.

I really love these shoes….I have tried about 25 different shoes looking for comfort , bad knees…either too soft and not stable, or too hard no cushion. these are a nice blend..I only wish ON would make more choices in the wide shoes….

The cushioning and arch support are very good so I didn’t need to put my orthotics in the sneakers yet.

Great shoe. Lots of toe room! Arch support is great. True to size!

I tried one of the original OC runners years ago in a wide and it was a huge disappointment. Too narrow and the toe box was too shallow. You had to have the skinniest feet with the flattest toes to justify keeping the shoes. Years later, I wanted to give OC another try. Ordered an 8 in a wide and expected another poor fit. I was wrong. Not only was it wide (true D), my actual width is a EE because of the bunions on my little toes, and yet, these sneakers fit like a dream. I’ve been using super max cushion shoes from other brands faithfully. These are not soft in the same way but they do squish well enough for a snappier, more responsive and smooth run. The ankle is plenty supportive too which is a plus. Really pleased with the quality of the shoes so far. These will also be great for long walks.

just felt tipsy in the sneakers not the same as I have bought this style before

The only reason I’m ‘returning is that the heel feels lower than the rest of the foot, like you are resting on your feels with your toes in the air when not in motion. I tried to like these but just couldn’t. Will look for another pair of Ons as I do like their shoes overall.

I recently purchased a pair of On Cloudsurfer sneakers & fell in love with the style, fit, level of comfort & support. I wanted to get a pair in a lighter color but nothing caught my eye. As I was scrolling the other versions On offered I found the Cloudsurfer Next & proceeded to order a pair thinking they would look & feel like the Cloudsurfers I was so happy with. That wasn’t the case. The Coudsurfer Next had little support & lacked cushioning in the foot bed. It also seemed the toe box was too roomy because when I tried them on, the fabric was wrinkling instead of laying flat against the top of my foot. I sent them back.

These are my first pair from this brand. Awesome comfort! Will buy more.

I particularly like the color way Black/Eclipse in this shoe-black but set off a bit with some grey. The shoe feels too narrow comparing to my Monster (same size and width) and I found the same to be true of the Cloud Surfer (without the NEXT)-there is more forefront cushioning in this version. I think they would really be comfortable were it not for the narrowness. I have never needed a Wide width, so not sure that would work.

Comfortable fit and good cushioning but the edges of the sole are the white synthetic material (not black rubber). The white material is extremely slippery when walking on tile or wet surfaces. Many ON styles are made with this fabric only on the sole of the shoe which is extremely slippery in wet weather. I thought these would be better because most of the sole has a thin layer of black rubber, but if your step catches the edge of the shoe that is white, slipping could be a problem!! Also, the center of sole has the fake white fabric that is also not rubber. Very cheap for a $150 shoe!

In love with these shoes! They are so light and so comfortable! And the wide actually fits like a true wide width where a lot of other running shoes have not. I’m between an 8.5 and 9 and did have to exchange the 8.5 that I ordered for the 9 and they fit like a dream. Very happy with this purchase. The arch support is very minimal, however, so if you do have moderate to high arches you will likely need insoles.

I have wide feet and encounter a lot of difficulty when searching for comfortable shoes. These shoes were perfect straight out of the box!

loved them so much I bought them in another color

perfect! most comfortable On Clouds I have ever owned out of about 20 pairs over the years. Definitely recommend!

love these sneakers–very light weight and cushioned

Sneakers provided the additional support needed for my heel. I’m very happy with this purchase! I’ve received so many compliments!!

The back rubs uncomfortablely on my Achilles. Doesn’t happen in other models of this brand. Also don’t like the word “running” on the shoe over the arch.
Anonymous –
Comfortable fit 1/2 size up but digs slightly into my Achilles die to the height of the back

I have worn these for two days and I already want a second pair.
