Love these. The width of this shoe is nice for my two year old who has Fred Flinstone feet. While the other natives are too narrow. These work great for him.

Ordered for my son but they run small. Same for my daughter but unfortunately she was more motivated to try and keep them and didn’t tell us they were too small. So now we are stuck with a pair she can’t wear. ð???

Kids love them ! They will be a staple from here on out !!!

I love Native shoes – so much that I bought some for myself as well as my kids! That said, there are some differences between Jefferson and Miles that are important to know if you’re deciding between the two. The Miles runs a little wider than the Jefferson, especially in the toe box area. I think if your child’s feet are average in width, they can wear either pair comfortably, but for a child with wide feet I’d definitely pick the Miles, and vice versa. Secondly, the Miles runs shorter than the Jefferson by at least 1/2 a size. So if your child has always worn Jeffersons (which run pretty true to size), I’d consider going up one size in the Miles. I’m attaching a photo that shows the Jefferson and the Miles next to one another for a comparison. The top shoe is a size 8 Miles. The middle shoe is a size 8 Jefferson. You can see the difference in length, despite the fact that they’re both an 8. The gray shoe at the bottom is a size 9 Miles. Hope this helps!

These are very wide! But still cute.

Not sure if the manufacturer changed the width of the shoe since last two years ; however these seemed a little wider which was perfect for my sons little wide feet. Perfect

Another review said they ran small so I sized up and they were huge. I would say they are closer to true to size. Also very easy – my 3 year old puts them on and off all by himself no questions asked!

The shoes are great, but beware, the sizing is off! I ordered the Jeffersons in a size 7 and the Miles in a size 8. The 8s were too big, and the Jeffersons in 7 were perfect, but my son got picky and wanted the “no white,” (i.e. the Jeffersons) so I sent both pairs back and reordered the Miles in a size 7. When I got them, they seemed a little tight so I held them up to his size 6 Jeffersons that we already owned, and they are the exact same length! So Miles size 7 = same length as Jefferson size 6, which makes no sense. The Miles are wider, so I think we are going to make do with these, but I doubt they will last through the whole summer, which is frustrating since the 8s were way too big.

Love these shoes for my son, but very disappointed as we’ve now owned about (3) pairs of them and they have all been warped by the sun or heat. These are meant to get wet, and therefore dry. But to dry them, if you leave them in the sun, they warp so much that they are unwearable. How can a water shoe not be allowed to dry in the sun! Super disappointed and will now be looking at other options.

I got two different style pairs of Natives, both size 5 toddler. These were WAY smaller than the other style. They were smaller when measuring against his Converse size 4s.

Natives are great. This style is wider than the Jefferson style. It is nice that they brand has multiple styles to fit different foot types. These shoes are very durable, my son has worn a pair of miles for about 9 months. He wears them when he rides his strider bike. Although they are incredibly worn (since he uses his feet/shoes as his brakes), they have held up remarkable well. Over the winter we tried a different brand of shoes for biking (since these have holes and aren’t warm), and they did not last a month. We ultimately went back to our Natives and just wore socks (stylish, I know). Not only are they durable, they are comfortable, fairly easy for my 2 yo to put on by himself, and they stay on his foot remarkable well. I like this brand, these shoes, and will continue to buy again and again.

I have been buying native shoes since my oldest son could walk. The Miles style fits my oldest who has wide feet with a low arch. The Miles don’t work for my younger son because with the high arch his feet are tall so they put pressure on the top of his foot (for him the Jefferson work best). Different styles for different feet. No matter what you can’t go wrong with Native shoes for little kids, they are the best summer shoes around!

Love these shoes. Great for kids with chunky feet. Run a full size small so size up!

These have a wider opening than most similar styles of shoes, great for chubby toddler feet.

First shoes that fit comfortably on my toddlers very chubby feet! He loves them! And they are so cute and easy to clean.

My three-year-old enjoys these and can pull them off very easily. So far we’re wearing them with socks so I can’t speak to how they work without them. But I’ve read many say they keep the foot dry. I would definitely get these again. Absolutely love the green color!

a little hard to put on but my kid loves them.

These fit wide feet much better than the Jeffersons do

My daughter has wide toddler feet and reviews said the Miles was wider than the other styles. The toe box was super wide but the shoe itself was still too narrow. It was hard to squeeze her little foot in and after wearing them, the holes in the plastic made indentations in her skin. Strangely, the heel was also very wide and slipped as she walked. So- wide toe and heel, skinny shoe in between. Don’t recommend for wide feet.

Best water and every day shoe for toddlers and little kids. My son owned a pair in every size, up until recently when he started wearing slides. Natives are still the better quality and style, but since he was only wearing them for the pool or beach, I didn’t want to spend that kind of money.

Great option for kids!

Purchased the same pair for 2 years in a row for grandson. They wear like iron, I throw them in the washer when really needed. Otherwise, just hose them off.
