Great quality, but too big in the waist while snug in hips and thighs. I can’t suggest going down a size, because of this combination of fit issues.

Well made, but the waist was a little too big, and the leg opening was a little too small for a medium, which is always my size. Based on these conflicting problems no size would have felt comfortable.

Fine and comfortable material and construction, but there is a disconnect between European and US sizing. XL is said to be 38-40, XXL 40-42. If you wear a US 40 don’t buy XL. I have Hanro regular cut boxers in both sizes and find XXL to be an American 40. XL is doable, but XXL a lot more comfortable. This appears to be the same with the boxer briefs. I purchase XL which work but the waist rides down. Next time I will buy XXL which is equivalent to a US 40.
