I was so happy to find this shirt – finally! I have one that I bought four years ago. It is my “uniform” all summer and has made many trips from hiking in Sierras, Costa Rica, Panama, Hawaii, etc. This shirt holds up beautifully, I just wanted a new one. Very comfy-wear it with a cami underneath. Perfect and washes out and dries overnight even in the jungle!

Love this shirt, I purchased it to protect my arms from the deer flies that were terrible this year. It is lightweight as expected from Columbia and fits true to size but the unexpected surprise is the front pockets. Zappos you missed the money shot on this one, the front has zip pockets on both sides that are large enough to fit my phone and hands so it’s like a lightweight jacket. It took me 3 tries before I found this one and it’s a keeper.

Love this shirt! It kept the intense sun off me at Lake Powell but is so light I hardly know it’s on. I like the sleeve snaps to keep them rolled up.

I love this shirt! This is the third one that I have purchased (white, blue, and beige). No wrinkles when traveling, great over a tee-shirt, true to size, and very comfortable. Great for sun protection. I ordered my shirt from Zappos on a Thursday afternoon and it was delivered on Friday morning. Great service.

Lots to like about this shirt. The fabric. The fitted styling. But I returned it because I didn’t like the “Columbia” logo on the tab. If I could have removed it without damaging the fabric, I would have kept the shirt. But I couldn’t and I returned it.

I like the hand of the material. It’s lightweight, which is a plus for a hiking/travel shirt. Since I ordered the shirt in black, being see thru isn’t an issue, but I’m not sure how the lightweight material would do in white. It might be quite sheer.
There are snaps instead of buttons down the front. The pockets are a good size — handy for travel .
I had to order a size up since this is a fitted style and I don’t want a snug fit for hiking.
My only criticizism is the small piece of Velcro that secures the collar tip on each side. The Velcro might snag things, so I would be careful when coming into contact with delicate materials.

Very light and comfortable; i bought the white and it’s not as sheer as I thought it would be so can wear without tank underneath. Love it, wish I had all colors now!

I am a walker and live in hot, sunny Florida. Since my body temperature tends to run warm, I would always wear workout tank tops when walking in the early morning and throughout the day shopping. Also, having olive skin, I stopped wearing sunscreen because I thought I didn’t need it. WRONG. I just got my first squamous cancer cell on my forearm. Seriously bummed out. An oncologist I know wears these Columbia UPF shirts every time we walk. So, I got smart and bought three! The colors I thought would look best with my olive skin (brown-eyed brunette) are shown in the photo: white, Clear Blue (turquoise) and Blue Macaw (cobalt). LOVE THEM. Then I decided to buy Lollipop (pink). All three look fine with my skin color. The Blue McCaw is particularly rich, deep and gorgeous. HIGH QUALITY: The shirts are extremely well made with fine stitching. If it didn’t have the logo on it, you could wear the shirt with a business suit. Also, people ask if the shirt is hot. Anything other than a tank top is hot for me, so I’m not a good judge… but I don’t mind. I’d rather have the protection from the sun. The back vent is nice and I leave the bottom button unbuttoned to allow more air through. Great job, Columbia! Great product! P.S. Forgot to mention that I was 15 pounds heavier when I bought them. They are looser on me now, but I like the extra material for sun protection (longer on wrist).

The fit is true to size. The side pockets are really helpful for keys and there is a tab on the chest for sunglasses. I have been wearing the shirt every time I drive in the car to protect my left arm from sun exposure. Tons of color choices!

This is my favorite shirt of all time. The fabric is amazing, the fit is perfect, I LOVE the snaps, but what I’m most impressed with is the sleeve length. I have long arms and usually am limited to men’s shirts. Get so tired of the maleness of my attire. This is a lovely shirt; I have it in two colors and will watch for more in the future.
Just as a side note, I bought a Tamiami shirt for my husband and the fabric is not so amazing. It’s very staticky, clings badly and retains it wrinkles. The buttons are not snaps.

My daughter bought me one of these shirts about 4 years ago for Mother’s Day…I now have 4 more! I ride horses in these on the warmer desert days, so they can get rather dirty, but I throw them in the washer and dryer and they come out like new! Plus, they don’t fade! I normally wear a size medium, but order a large in these. The medium fits, but is rather snug (I’m 5’3″ and average build) and who wants to wear a clingy shirt when it’s hot. The large is loose enough to allow for good air flow and the drape is nice so it doesn’t look like a tent. Sleeve length is generous with double snaps and the length is also good…not too long. I’ll probably buy a few more as I love all the colors!

Columbia, you’ve got a real hit with this one! It’s so lightweight and comfy, with so many fab features: snaps are the best, I’m now ditching my button down shirts! Also love that this shirt has a shape that’s flattering but not fitted. The sunglasses hook in front is super-convenient, and love that the little key pockets are at the waist instead of the standard chest-level patches that aren’t flattering at all for women. One criticism…not enough earth tones in the color selection — we needed taupe, tan, sage and olive tones for jungle, desert, etc. since bright colors tend to spook the wildlife we’re hoping to see.

Tried and true, I can always depend on Columbia shirts ; quality and sizing. It is nice to depend on a company to be consistent. This shirts also wash well and dry quickly. They are my go to, especially on the boat or when RVing.

I love this shirt! I bought both this and another SPF long sleeve shirt and I prefer this one so much I sent the other one back and got a second one of these! This is very lightweight so some people may prefer the heavier fabric of the other shirt. he fabric has a very tiny check pattern to it to make it a super cute fishing shirt. It is slightly fitted and will look great over a bathing suit. It has snaps instead of buttons, but I am good with that. Now I need to find this shirt in mens in xls tall for my hubby!
