First of all, I ordered blue and received black, second, they are overpriced, hardly any arch and felt cheap. So, returned, thanks Zappos for your wonderful return policy

All ok but not what I expected

A caveat here; I have yet to find a pair of Birkenstocks that are comfortable for me. I was so hopeful and loved the style and lovely color. However, for my feet, there was little to no/arch support and they were sadly just pain uncomfortable with the “no give” footbed and sole. Oh well…

Super light, great arch support LOVE them! Would highly recommend!

These shoes created an instant stabbing pain in the area just back from my pinky toes (towards the heel, outside area of foot) in both feet. Took two steps and had to take them off.

I have many birkenstocks so I was excited to get these. At first I wasn’t so sure I would keep them. They weren’t quit what I expected. First, I guess unisex fits differently. Eventhough I sized down, they seemed very large. In addition the footbed was flatter than I expected but there is the toe grip. But after adjusting all the straps to a much smaller setting and wearing them for a day, I now love them. I’m thinking about getting another color. I got the gray and they go nicely with everything. You have to give them a chance.

I love the Birkenstock sole in a cushy format!! However, the fake leather ruins it. It’s stiff and unpleasant.

Excellent sandal

Ran big in the back

This shoe runs very large and therefore door does not fit in the molded sections of the shoe. Little tight on the toes. Buckle straps are difficult to change.

It’s a Wonderful shoe and fits beautifully unfortunately even though I’ve worn Birkenstocks for years, it’s no longer going to work for me for walking outside. Which is why I purchase this for summer. I am going to have to return it unfortunately cuz I can’t afford to buy it for just a couple of occasions.

The material was nice. The uppers were an improvement over the old Birki Flor and the sole was flexible and felt moderately supportive. Unfortunately, the width was a deal breaker. They were just too wide for my foot even though I am very flat footed with fallen arches. I only wear Birkenstock shoes and I’d wanted a pair that I could walk in without stepping out of them. I was disappointed that these didn’t work out for me.

I wanted to love these. The first one was my normal size and the foot bed was way too big. I swapped for a smaller size and then when I had the straps secured, my toes kept bumping on the raised front lip. They felt like the correct size, but then walking made my feet bump in weird places. So maybe the original size was “correct,” but then the straps felt way too big. Anyway, not a win for me, alas.

Too large

I wanted a comparable women’s size 8 in this sandal which was suppose to be a 39 according to the size chart but it was at least one size to long and too wide in the arch. Will return
Jeanie –
I have not worn Birkenstocks in years but when I put these on my feet seemed to remember the Birkenstocks days and they felt very comfortable and supportive. No more cork, so there is none of that to take care of. The buckles are a bit difficult to maneuver because they are stiff but hopefully they will get better with time

two months and still holding up

These could have been awesome, except for a couple of things. First, the raised edge around the footbed gives no leeway with sizing if you have wider feet. I got my usual size 40, and they were HUGE (more than an inch longer than my other sandals), so went down to a 39. They were a better length, but narrower, and the raised edges painfully pushed on my pinky and big toes. If that area was flat instead, they actually would have worked for me.
Also, the footbed is a weird plastic material that’s tolerable while dry, but would be way too slippery to wear in the rain. I would maybe keep the larger size if they were a quarter of the price, and just wear them around the house, but definitely not worth the full price!

I wear a mens size 7.5 and the Euro size 41 fit me better than the size 40 with my toes hitting the front lip for the latter. My podiatrist recommended Birkenstock for plantar fasciitis. These shoes are very comfortable.
